Our COVID-19 Response & Actions
Like you, we are ready and willing to be back in the community. To do this it takes us all working within the health and safety guidelines. If you plan to attend an in-person session we ask that if
-
You have/had a fever or flu-like symptoms
-
You have/had lost your sense of smell or taste
-
You have/had been exposed to anyone that you know of with covid or flu-like symptoms
-
You have/had travelled internationally or to a high-risk covid area (see travel advisories here)
within 14 days of your appointment that you reschedule or take your session remotely.
All scheduled sessions will be spaced appropriately to avoid close contact with other clients, and to allow time for proper disinfecting of all client areas including rooms, restrooms, doorknobs, devices, seats etc.
Our Commitment to You
-
Protective equipment: All staff will wear masks or face shields.
-
Cleaning: We will be using a variety of disinfecting cleaners to ensure that all shared spaces are properly cleaned between each client. All sheets are changed between clients and we are using a HEPA air purifier in consult rooms that reduces allergens and viruses by 99.9%.
-
Scheduling: All clients are now scheduled with more time between appointments to allow for as little cross over as possible and more time for cleaning.
-
Waiting Area: Our classroom has been converted to the waiting area to allow for proper social distancing.
Client Commitment
-
Face masks are required for all sessions and in shared spaces. If you do not want or cannot wear a face mask we ask that you take your appointment remotely.
-
Temperature Requirement : A fever of 100.4 indicates infection. If you have this temp or higher please cancel your appointment. We will be checking your temperature upon arrival with a touchless thermometer.
-
Hand Sanitizer: We will provide hand sanitizer for clients in addition to the restroom sink & soap as needed.
-
Questionnaire: Fill out a four question form when you arrive for your session acknowledging that any of the Covid risk factors listed above do not apply to you.
