Following the movie there will be a short Question & Answer session with Anjali Brannon, Owner of Ayurveda Natural Health Center and student of Dr. Lad's in US and India from 1998-2001. The afternoon will conclude with a brief introduction& experience of Heartfulness Meditation.

THE DOCTOR FROM INDIA is a meditative and immersive portrait of the life and work of Dr. Vasant Lad, the holistic health pioneer who first brought the ancient medical practice of Ayurveda from India to the west in the late 1970s. Integrating his gifts as both a healer and a mystic, Dr. Lad has dedicated his life to sharing what is considered the oldest healthcare system on earth in the complex medical landscape of the United States. This is the beautiful and inspiring story of a man who has for decades been quietly at the center of a revolutionary movement to change the way we care for our bodies and our spirits. Directed by Jeremy Frindel (One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das) with an elegant musical score by Rachel Grimes, and featuring Deepak Chopra, Robert Svoboda, David Frawley, and Claudia Welch.

Following this special one-time screening, we will have a Q&A with Anjali M. Brannon, Owner of the Ayurveda Natural Health Center. Anjali studied at the Ayurvedic Institute with Dr. Vasant Lad for 3 years from 1998-2001 both in Albuquerque, New Mexico and in India. Since then, she has had an active professional Ayurvedic health practice. Her practice has been part of the University of Cincinnati's Alternative Medicine Rotation for Family Practice Medical Residents at the Clinton Memorial Hospital where medical students observe her work to understand more about complementary medicine. She is currently the Director of the skilled team at the Ayurveda Natural Health Center in Beavercreek, Ohio.
