About the Event
Come and join us for a deeper look into the practice of Ayurveda through an exploration of the 3 Vital Essences. The Essences of Ojas, Tejas & Prana are the building blocks of the Doshas and their subtle but powerful role in our daily lives can improve resilience, immunity, balance, creativity & inner harmony.
Each week we will take one Essence and methodically break down:
What is the Essence, it’s Role, and its Influence
What Ways do we Deplete or Improve that Essence
A Guided Practice to Connect with the Essence designed to be suitable for all Students
Q+A along with a Home Exploration Practice to continue building understanding
The Vital Essence Series runs Saturdays April 11, 18, and 25th from 11:00am-12:00pm
Week One: Ojas ‘Nourishing Our Life Nectar’ | Immunity, Resiliency & Stability
Week Two: Tejas ‘Kindling the Inner Spark’ | Metabolism, Intelligence & Creativity
Week Three: Prana ‘Finding Balance Through Breath’ | Energy, Life Force & Regulation
Over our three weeks together you will have a more grounded understanding of the three essences & why they are so important to your overall well-being, have tools to enhance their qualities, and already be experiencing the benefits through our weekly practice and your home exploration.
All levels of Student are welcome, some understanding of the Doshas & the Elements from Ayurvedic Perspective will be beneficial but not necessary. A worksheet will be provided and you are encouraged to bring a notebook, pen and wear comfortable clothing. Chair seating is available.
Janae Christopher is a certified Ayurveda Yoga Specialist who has been practicing & living Ayurveda since 2013. In 2016, she began teaching workshops & classes along with working with 1:1 clients both locally in Dayton, Ohio and around the world.
